Dear Bob:
Mom's name on her birth certificate was "Minnie", but when Grandpa married Agnes she had by her previous marriage a daughter "Minnie"---so when mon was confirmed they changed her name to "Mildred"
Grandma told me Sheffield was so "sooty" that you couldn't hang laundry out to dry so they had folding wooden racks they put in front of the firepalce called a "winter hedge"----another interesting thing---on Sunday you took your roast to the bakery on your way to church and got it on the way home all roasted! --Great idea!
Mildred married Houston DRISCOLL.
