bullet  General Notes:

Florence was a native of Seattle, Washington, and had lived at 166 Newton
Street.

Lucille Miers Webster visited Florence after she had had a stroke and was
in a nursing home in Seattle, Washington in 1973. Ancil Miers, Lucille's
father, was with Lucille. Florence is Ancil's cousin. Both Florence and
her sister Blanche were in the same nursing home at the same time. The
nursing home was located under the Aurora Bridge on the south side of the
canal/Lake Union.
Florence/Blanche used to send gifts to Iowa for relatives. Lucille's
mother received several of these gifts and Lucille received a head scarf
with a map of the Seattle World's Fair in 1962 printed on the scarf.

Florence lived a long time after her 1973 stroke. After the above
nursing home, she was transfered to another farther north in Seattle.
Her funeral was a St. Anne's Church, handled by
Butterworth-Manning-Ashmore.

There is a photo of Florence with her family when she was approximately
eight years old taken at Jacobs Photo Shop in the P. I. (Post
Intellengencer) Building, Seattle, Washington, no date.
