Lydia and Obe ran the County Home (a residence for old, low income people
who can no longer care for themselves) in 1916 for a few years. This
data provided by their great-grandson, Vernon Orr, son of Edna Orr and
grandson of Marshall Betterton.

Lydia is buried in the cemetry north of Knoxville, Iowa.

Jacob Creager had no children of his own or they died young, so on Nov.
17, 1887, his heirs were from his sister's, Lydia Miers, children. Those
heirs are all grand-nephews and nieces of Jacob: (reference 4):

Ontario County, NY. In the article, Jacob's heirs are listed.
