We are not sure how Thomas Temple got to America, but he appears in Goshen, Pennsylvania, in 172. He is the third child of William Temple & Susannah Carrington.

The above was lifted from the internet (as well as the notes re William)----GWP's notes disagree w the names of Jane's GGrand Father and GGGrand Father. Will research at a later date---JBR

GWP 1906 notes---"Jane's G Grandfather was William Temple and her GG Granfather was Thomas Temple, born in Combs lane in Wiltshire, England in 1690 or thereabouts. In 1714 he came over to Chester Co. Penn. He seems to have had a brother, William, who died in Wiltshire, England in 1775."

Thomas married Jane Chandler JEFFERIS.
