Rev. W. J. Fowler lived in Sigourney, Iowa, when his cousin, May (Clara
May) Anderson died. Clara was Joseph Freeman Miers' sister. W. J. was
the minister who performed Clara May's funeral in Knoxville, Iowa, where
he had been a Methodist minister before living in Sigourney.
