Janice (Skinner) Orth remembers that William died before his wife
Lottie. Then she want to Oregon to live. She may have been married more
than once but Janice did not know for sure. They lived in Green Lake
area of Seattle and he worked at Seattle Gas Co. as it was called then.
Janice's father also worked at Seattle Gas Co. Then, William and Lottie
ran a store called Bailey's Corner in Clinton, Washington. Janice thinks
they had no kids.

William married Mary RUSLING, daughter of Thomas Collingwood RUSLING and Jane COLBRIDGE, on 16 Dec 1844. (Mary RUSLING was born on 3 Oct 1826 in Thorne, Yorkshire, England and was christened on 12 Nov 1826.)

William next married LOTTIE.
