Came to Virginia in the ship "Charity," 1654, settled in Lancaster County, Virginia; established "Buckingham Lodge," on south Side of Rappahannock river, also owned "Pickatone" in Westmoreland and "Corbin Hall," in Middlesex; justice of Lancaster Co., 1657; vestryman, Christ Church, Middlesex; burgess Lancaster County, 1658-1660; member council, 1663; justice Middlesex, 1673.
January 3, 1656-57, Bond of Henry Corbyn of Rappahanock, Virginia, merchant, to Sir. Henry Chicheley, Colonel Samuel Mathewes and thomas Corbyn, on the occasion of his intended marriage to Alice, widow of Rowland Burham of Rappahannock, in order to secure her property to Alice.
Henry married Alice ELTONHEAD, daughter of Richard ELTONHEAD and Ann SUTTON, on 25 Jul 1657. (Alice ELTONHEAD was born in 1627 in England, United Kingdom and died in 1685 in Middlesex Co., VA.)
