Anne Carrington Cabell (Jody's 3rd Great Grandmother) (20 Sep 1787 - 7 Jul 1854) married John James Flournoy of “Union Grove,” in Prince Edward County, on 28 June 1807. Flournoy, a farmer and soldier in the War of 1812, was the son of Thomas Flournoy and Ann Martin. John was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates (1817 - 18) as was his father (1777 - 78, 1779, 1781 - 82). She died July 7, 1854, at Farmville, Va. She was received into the Briery Presbyterian Church in April 181 and continued a member of that church to her death. "A bright Christian, a devoted wife, mother, and friend."
Ann Carrington (Cabell) Flournoy and her husband were the parents of four children.

Ann married John James FLOURNOY, son of Thomas FLOURNOY and Ann MARTIN, on 28 Jun 1807. (John James FLOURNOY was born in 1766 in Union Grove, Prince Edward County, Virginia, USA.)
