MARY F. JOHNSON OF GROVE DIES
Mrs. Mary Ferris Johnson passed away yesterday at a local hospital. Death was sudden and was a severe shock to her family and many friends. She was 78 years old. A resident of Pacific Grove for the last 20 years, she was the widow of the late William Johnson, who died about six years ago. There are no local relatives surviving.
Paul's mortuary is arranging the funeral.

SERVICES TOMORROW FOR MRS. JOHNSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ferris Johnson, who passed away Wednesday at a local hospital, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Paul Mortuary chapel in Pacific Grove.
Mrs. Johnson, whose home was in the Grove, was a member of the Rebekah lodge, the Woman's Relief Corps and the Methodist church.
Surviving relatives include a brother, Robert Ferris of Michigan, and a step-son, W.A. Johnson of Hollister.
