Text by Alistair Chafer: Retired farm worker of "Crosslands", Brigg. cause of death-Senile Decay. Death registered by John W. Faulding, Nephew, Croft House, Ulceby. Spoke to Don Faulding, who told me who the wife was. he remembered his Aunt Sophy and Herbert. Said Herbert had brought up the rest of the family from when he was 14. When young he had TB and the doctor had told him he needed fresh air so he went to sea on a trawler. Later he had worked for a threshing contractor and had to be there at 5.00am to get steam up. Later he had worked for Don's father, who was a farmer. There were no children..
